“My interest in the industry came at the young age of four, when I decided to give myself a haircut. My dad told me the next time I decided to cut hair I would need to be licensed, and that’s exactly what I set out to do.”
Briar graduated from Fife High School and then enrolled at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Capitol Hill. She graduated in 2017 and began a 7-month advanced training program at a salon in Seattle. After moving to Covington, she applied at Daniel Ross to be more involved in the community she was living in. Briar specializes in dimensional color and women’s haircuts. Some of her favorite things about doing hair are continuous learning, building relationships with clients and coworkers, and tailoring services to each guest’s lifestyle and desires to create a look that makes them feel great in and out of the salon.
